Yesterday, I was lucky enough to be asked to join my son and his class on an excursion to the Adelaide Zoo. We had a great day, and all the kids were very well behaved. The zoo has changed so much over the past few years. Gone are most of the concreted exhibits, which have been replaced by gorgeous natural habitat exhibits with huge perspex windows for visitors to see the animals. We can't wait until next year when 2 Panda's arrive in the new exhibit which is currently under construction.
Because of all the construction going on, a lot of the regular animals weren't there but we did get to see a lot like the sealion being fed, penguins, giraffes, meerkats, mongooses, hippo's, reptiles, lions, lots of varieties of birds, the funny monkeys, including the kid's favourite "red bum monkeys", and at the end of the day the kid's went into the petting zoo where my son's shoe was being nibbled on by a baby goat lol

Looks like fun!!! We are expecting snow (or at least flurries) this coming week. It looks so warm and inviting there! Summer is VERY gone and winter is close at hand....
Hope it's been a good week.
Does look like fun day, I do agree! Just wanted to stop by and say hello!
